Whether it’s your first or your fourth, expecting a new baby is such an exciting time. There are so many things to think about and plan. You’re probably wondering when is the best time to book your newborn session and if you want to book a maternity session as well. You might not be sure if you really want one but also be worried that you will regret it later!
Luckily for you, you stumbled across my limited time special offer! If you go ahead and book you newborn session with me now you will also receive a mini maternity session for free!!
Your Maternity Session.
Your mini maternity session will be a 15 minute session that takes place at the Mint Museum on Randolph Rd in Charlotte, NC.
It can involve just you, you and your partner, or you, your partner and child (ren) as well. That’s totally up to you!
Once you have booked your newborn session during this limited time offer, I will be in touch to set a date and time for your maternity session. You will receive guidance about what to wear before your session.
Two to three weeks after your session, you will receive a fully edited gallery from me with around 10-15 images. You will be able to select your five favorites for immediate download with printing rights. You will also have the option of purchasing additional digitals and/or prints and products.
Don’t Forget: Your newborn session must be booked by March 31st, 2023 to receive the free mini maternity session.
Your Newborn Session.
Once your baby is born, you will contact me to set a specific date for your newborn session. On that date, I will come to you in your home to document your new beautiful baby and the rest of your family. My newborn sessions are organic, simple and natural. I help you, as a mom with a new baby, feel as relaxed as possible. Because you are relaxed you are able to enjoy this special time with your family and the images that result are truly heart-warming.
When you work with me for your newborn session, you get:
Clear communication and preparation for your session
A 1-2 hour relaxed, intimate session that features beautiful images of your newborn as well as your family as a whole
No stress if the baby is fussy or an older sibling is still in an adjustment phase… It's all real life. It's all beautiful.
Beautiful, artful images in digital format as well as a print credit to order professional quality prints, wall art and handcrafted albums… The story of your new baby deserves to live somewhere other than a hard drive.

Investment.
A session fee of $250 is required to reserve your session and covers the cost of pre-session communications, session time, and editing time. This fee is non refundable and does not include any image downloads, prints, or products.
After the session, you will view a slideshow with all the photos from your session and then be able to purchase a specific collection of your choice. Every collection includes digital images and print credit for purchase of prints and products that best fit your family. Collections start at $450.
And don’t forget, if you book by March 31st, you will also receive a mini maternity session for free!

FAQs.
What happens if it rains for my maternity session?
I will be in contact with you the day before your session if weather looks like it will be an issue. If we do, in fact, need to cancel we will work together to pick a different mutually agreeable date to have the session.
What if my baby arrives early or late?
No worries. I understand that babies come on their own time. When you book, I reserve a spot for you and use your due date as a general timeframe. We don’t, however, set a firm session date until the baby has arrived.
What do my sessions include?
You mini maternity session is FREE and includes 5 downloadable digital images. There will be an option to purchase additional digitals, prints, and products after your session.
For your newborn session, you will pay a session fee during booking that includes my pre-planning, session, and editing time. After you receive your gallery you select one of three collections you would like to purchase. Each collection includes digital images as well as a print credit to put toward prints and products.
I just booked my newborn session! What now?
Yay! After you book your newborn session you will receive a session guide packed with information about what to expect/ how to plan for your newborn session. I will also be in contact within 2 days to set up a time for your mini maternity session and to offer guidance and preparation for that session as well.

After that, we can hop on a quick call so that we can chat and I can answer any lingering questions or, if you want, we can skip that part (just let me know) and communicate via email. Once you are ready, I will send you over a link to sign a contract and pay your session fee. Once those two items are complete you are all booked!
