Capture your beautiful family, just as they are…. and make it quick and easy!!
Just As You Are.
I live to capture families JUST AS THEY ARE. I truly believe that when families are given the freedom to be themselves, have fun with each other, and let their unique personalities shine then everything else falls into place and the result is breathtaking.
Everything that is beautiful, true, and perfectly imperfect about your family will be captured in a beautiful gallery of photos that are yours to cherish for a lifetime.
Booking.
In order to book your session, you will select your desired date, time, and location through my booking system and pay your fee.
From there, I will make sure that we have all the details for an amazing session in place. I will be in contact with you at all the necessary points and also send out a family "What To Wear" guide that helps you feel super prepared. And, I'm always available if you have any questions leading up to your session.
A few days before our session is scheduled, I'll email to confirm our time and location. At that point, we can also discuss if the weather is looking questionable.
Please remember, the rain makeup date for all Saturday sessions are the next day (Sunday) at the same time and the Wednesday sessions will be made up the following Wednesday at the same time. Please make sure that you have BOTH dates available when selecting your desired session date as a makeup session cannot be guaranteed otherwise.
Your Session.
On the day of your session, please arrive about 10 minutes ahead of time so as not to be rushed. Remember, your scheduled time is the time we actually begin shooting.
The session will be around 12 minutes long and I promise to make it as quick, easy, and painless as possible! I will provide some light prompting and direction, but I also do like for you to feel free enough to naturally interact and play with your family. As time is limited, the focus will be on getting shots of your whole family, siblings, and a few individual child shots. I do try to get a few group shots with everyone smiling at the camera, but most of your time will be spent "playing" instead of "posing."
Most importantly, remember to relax and have fun! The focus of your session is not about perfect smiles, perfect poses, or everyone behaving like perfect angels. Instead your session is about capturing your family, just as you are.
After Your Session.
Within 2-3 weeks after your session, you'll receive an email from me with a link to a gallery that includes all of your fully-edited images.
After viewing your gallery, you will be able to select your FIVE favorite images for immediate download.
You will also be able to purchase extra digitals and/or prints and products directly through your gallery.
Your gallery will be active for 1 month from the time you receive it. This will give you plenty of time to select your favorites for download and make any additional purchases if you desire.

When and where?

Saturday, Oct 14th -(morning and early evening)- We will meet in front of Hex Coffee. 201 Camp Road Charlotte, NC 28206
This mixed use complex is upbeat and quirky with a large variety of nooks and crannies to explore that make a session here so fun and unique! While there are a great deal of industrial elements (think exposed bricks and painted murals) they have also done a great job with beautiful landscaping to “soften the edges” and make this a truly unique space to take photos.
MCGILL ROSE GARDEN

Hidden right outside of uptown, this beautiful rose garden is a truly special place. Besides, the obvious beautiful flowers, there are meandering paths, little benches, and a beautiful arbor. This space is truly lovely and a great location for a photo session.
What happens if it rains?
When you select your mini session date your rain date is built in. For all Saturday sessions, your rain date is the next day (Sunday) at the same time. For the Wednesday sessions, they will be made up the following week (Wednesday) at the same time. Please make sure that you have availability for both dates when you book as I can not guarantee a make-up date otherwise. I will be in contact with you the day before your session if weather looks like it will be an issue.
What if I'm stiff and awkward for photos?
That's where I come in! I work hard to ensure that you feel comfortable and have fun at your session. Over the years I've found a good balance of providing prompts and support while stepping back and letting natural interactions unfold. Your photos will be anything but stiff!
I just booked my session! What now?
Don't worry. I won't leave you hanging! Be on the look out very soon for a "What to Wear" Guide to help you start planning outfits. Also, I will send an email with detailed information about your specific session (where to park, where to find me, etc...) Additionally, a few days before your session, I will check in with a reminder email. And, please, feel free to contact me at any point with any questions you may have!

Your fee includes…
A 12 minute photo session in an awesome location that is easy and FUN!
Your choice of 5 digital images from your gallery. (The gallery will contain around 10-15 images)
Options to purchase extra digitals and/or prints and products will be available.
$250
(Your fee is non-refundable. However, if necessary, you can transfer them to another party. Please just notify me of the situation).
